About
A residential design studio grounded in architecture, proportion and material, creating thoughtful, cohesive homes designed to feel calm, balanced and enduring, shaped by the way people live.
Established in 2013, Halvorsen Interiors is a residential design studio specialising in interior architecture, spatial planning and interior decoration. The practice brings together architectural discipline and interior sensibility to create homes that feel cohesive, calm and enduring.
Working across renovations, new builds and full furnishing projects, the studio approaches each commission with clarity and rigour. Spatial planning and proportion are carefully developed early in the process, establishing the framework that guides all subsequent design decisions.
The studio’s work is defined by a restrained material palette, refined detailing and an emphasis on spaces that feel balanced, functional and quietly sophisticated. Interiors are designed to feel timeless rather than trend-driven, allowing architecture, light and material to shape the experience of the home.
Halvorsen Interiors remains intentionally small in scale, allowing for close collaboration and direct involvement from concept through to completion. Strong relationships with trusted trades and suppliers, combined with clear documentation and communication, ensure each project is delivered with care and precision.
The Studio
The Halvorsen Interiors studio is where ideas are developed and brought into focus.
Designed as an extension of our practice, it is a calm, light-filled environment anchored by custom joinery and layered materials. It provides a structured setting for consultations and presentations, allowing clients to engage directly with selections and review concepts with clarity.
Our dedicated sample library houses flooring, carpet, natural stone, tile and textile collections, providing a tactile space where material decisions can be explored with confidence.
Consultations are held by appointment.
